First and foremost during your visit to Morocco, you will get to see the second and oldest city in Morocco, Fes, as you will explore the next day with a local guide. Next, we are going to visit Fes. After that, we are going to visit the Sahara Desert of Merzouga.
In addition to that, we are going to make a few stops on the road to explore some wonderful views and visit some Kasbahs, mainly the popular Kasbah of Ait Benhaddou on the outskirts of Ouarzazate city. Most importantly, we are going to see and explore all the beautiful spots here in the South of Morocco in this 5-day tour from Fes.

On the first day of our 5 days Morocco tour from Fes to Marrakech via the Sahara Desert, we will pick you up at the airport drive over to your Riad, and drop you off there to rest. Later on, if you would like to have some free time to walk in the Medina of Fes.
On the second day of our 5 days in Morocco desert tour from Fes to Marrakech, you will get to explore the popular imperial city of Fes. We will do some sightseeing in the city of Fes and visit some of its prominent monuments such as the Bou Inania Madrassa; you see the architecture and the beauty of it all.
Next, we’ll pay a visit to Fes Elbali or the old city of Fes; we’ll walk down its streets and Souks. In addition to that, we will visit the Chouari tannery, a popular place for making leather, and then stop at the Jewish Quarter often referred to as the Mellah.
This day will be special as you will see a lot of places in Fes and learn new stuff about the long history of the city. late in the afternoon, we’ll head back to the Riad.
On the third day of your 5 days desert tour from Fes to Marrakech, we will pick you up at your Riad and drive to see Ifrane, Africa’s little Switzerland. After that, we will continue to the middle Atlas Mountains, where we will stop to stretch our legs, enjoy the Atlas breeze, and feed the lovely monkeys.
Following that, we will travel all the way to the Sahara Desert via Midelt, a city known for large apple harvests each year. We’ll continue driving through the Ziz Canyon and valley, to get to Erfoud, a Saharan fossil town and the gateway to the Desert, after a delicious lunch on the road.
We’ll arrive in the Sahara Desert by the end of the day and ride camels over the sand dunes to enjoy the beauty of the Saharan sunset. After watching the sunset from one of the high dunes of Erg Chebbi, you will continue to the luxury desert camp to spend the night. At the luxury desert camp, you will have the evening entertainment including a drum circle and a campfire under a massive starry sky.
On the 4th day of our 5 days in Morocco desert tour from Fes to Marrakech, you will always remember the magical beauty of waking up early to see the sunrise over the golden dunes. After breakfast, we will return to Merzouga on our camels and continue on our way to the Dades Valley.
The Alaouite dynasty, the present ruling family in Morocco, was born in the ancient city of Rissani, which we will visit first. We will visit the Ksour of Rissani, a collection of fortified settlements that date back to the 17th century, and tour the area’s customary souk (Traditional market).
After that, we’ll travel to get to the Toudra Gorge, where you will have a walk in its Canyon. Also, see palm trees. Last but not least, we will continue our drive to the Dades Valley, popular for its spectacular rock formations and historic kasbahs, after lunch at a neighborhood eatery (fortified villages). We’ll stay the night in a Riad, where we’ll have a sumptuous dinner and take in the tranquility of the valley.
On the last day of our 5 days Morocco desert tour from Fes to Marrakech, we’ll leave the Dades Valley and head to the Rose Valley. Then, to Ouarzazate and the famous Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of Morocco’s most impressive Kasbahs. This fortified village has appeared in numerous films, including Gladiator and Game of Thrones, and is a must-see on any Moroccan vacation.
After exploring the kasbah and taking photos of that incredible view, we’ll continue on to Marrakech via the High Atlas Mountains and the Tizi NTichka Pass, Morocco’s highest road pass at 2,260 meters above sea level.
