On the first day of our 2 days tour from Fes to Merzouga, one of the four imperial cities in Morocco to the Sahara Desert, we will pick you up at your Riad, and our driver will take you through Ifrane, often referred to as the little Switzerland of Morocco, thanks to the fact that it almost always snows there during winter and also, they have this unique architecture.
In addition to that, Ifrane has the best University in Morocco, which hosts Moroccan students as well as foreign students. Furthermore, we will make a stop, as we drive across the middle Atlas Mountains with its beautiful forests and landscapes all the way to Midelt and carry on driving through the Tizi Talghomt pass with its panoramic views until we arrive in the Sahara Desert of Merzouga.
Upon arrival, you will be welcomed with a glass of tea for each one you and rest a little and then go on a camel ride among the golden sand dunes where you will see this incredible sunset before the camels take you back to your well-equipped camp to spend the night.
On the second and, unfortunately, last day of our 2 days Sahara desert tour from Fes to Merzouga, it is recommended that you get up early so that you do not miss the most spectacular sunrise, and then have a yummy Saharan breakfast, take a hot shower and hit the road to Rissani to visit its traditional Souk. After that to Erfoud to see a fossil work shope. Then, back to Fes, where we will drop you off at your Riad or airport.
This 2-days desert tour from Fes to Merzouga was one of the adventures I admired most while I was visiting Morocco; we got to see the Sahara Desert, Ifarne, and cedar forest. Also, we visited a very interesting and worthwhile place called Rissani. and yeah It was a very cool trip even though it was short, we got to see many places.
We love the Sahara Desert and decided to take this 2-day Sahara desert tour from Fes and It turned out to be the best thing we ever did. Thanks to our driver and guide Rachid.
