On the first day of our 4 days desert tour from Marrakech to Fes, we’ll pick you up from your Accommodation in Marrakech, and head over to Boumalne Dades. On the way there, we’ll get to pass through the spectacular Atlas Mountains. We’ll stop there to appreciate the beauty of the landscapes and take some pictures before we carry on driving down to the Kasbah of Ait Benhaddou.
We’ll stop there for a while to stroll around and explore the hidden beauty of this Kasbah with its old, but impressive Berber architecture.
The Kasbah of Ait Benhaddou and the neighboring city of Ouarzazate are admired most by travelers. We’ll have a delicious Moroccan lunch there and head over to Ouarzazate to visit the Atlas studios if you are interested. Our next stop will be at the Rose Valley.
We will continue our way after that to our Riad in Boumalne Dades.
On the second day of our 4 days desert tour from Marrakech to Fes. After breakfast at the Riad in Boumalne Dades, we’ll leave for the Sahara Desert. As we travel to the Sahara Desert, we’ll often stop at some viewpoints on the road.
We’ll also pay the Gorges of Toudgha a short visit so you can see the giant Mountains and take some pictures. Also, you will have a walk and enjoy the breeze of the mountains. After that, we’ll carry on driving to the amazing Sahara Desert where you will have a Camel trekking across the Erg Chebbi Dunes, sandboarding, and the chance to enjoy a spectacular desert sunset & spend the night at a luxury desert camp.
On the third day of our 4-day tour from Marrakech to Fes via the Sahara Desert, we’ll dedicate this very day to a local tour around the Sahara desert. Today, we encourage you to wake up early in order to witness the stunning sunrise over the Sahara Desert. It’s worth it, we promise!
After breakfast at the camp, you’ll explore the surrounding area and visit a nomadic family to learn more about their traditional way of life. Also, visit Mifis mines, and listen to African music with their traditional dance in Khamlia.
In the afternoon you’ll head to the hotel, where you can relax and take a refreshing dip in the swimming pool.
On the fourth & last day of our 4-day desert tour from Marrakech to Fes via the Sahara Desert, we’ll drive all the way to Fes. On the way there, we’ll get to visit Erfoud, a desert town known for fossils and traditional outfits.
Next, we’ll drive to the Valley of Ziz, take pictures, and enjoy the scenery. After that, we’ll make a stop in Midelt City and carry on driving through cedar forests. The latter is where you will get the chance to feed wild monkeys. The last stop will be in Ifrane.

Our highlights were the Merzouga desert, and visiting the fortified village of Ait Ben Haddou.
