5 days desert tour from Agadir to Merzouga

On the first day of our 5 days desert tour from Agadir to the Sahara Desert and back, we’ll meet you in Agadir, a city by the ocean with the most fascinating beaches and landscapes, and then we are going to drive down to Marrakesh, often known as the red city.

Marrakesh’s, by far, the most touristy city in Morocco with millions of tourists visiting every year. Marrakesh’s worth it as there is a number of things to see and do there. We’ll take you to explore Marrakesh’s most visited spots and taste some of the local Marrakesh cuisines and then spend a night at one of the best Riads in the Medina

On the second day of our tour, we are going to drive through the high Atlas Mountains with the most captivating and panoramic views all the way to the Kasbah of Ait Benhaddou, a famous Kasbah with the best views and old, yet impressive architecture.

In fact, the Kasbah of Ait Benhaddou’s a UNESCO world heritage site; it attracts thousands of visitors every year, thanks to the fact that parts of some famous movies were filmed there such as Game of Thrones, Gladiator and many more, both local and foreign movies. Next, we’ll continue driving to Boumalne Dades where we’ll spend the night at a guesthouse/ Riad.

On the third day of our tour, we’ll drive over to the Sahara Desert and on the way there you’ll we’ll make a few stops along the way. We’ll stop in the gorges of Toudgha and take a stroll in the famous Toudgha canyon to which climbers of all nationalities go to do their climbing and engage in a lot of crazy activities there. After that, we’ll carry on driving to Erfoud and then to the Sahara Desert (Merzouga). When we arrive in the Sahara Desert, we’ll drink a cup of warm mint tea and spend the night at a desert camp

On the fourth day of our journey, we’ll have breakfast, take a warm shower and drive to Rissani, a desert town with this great market place (Souk) and then continue driving through Alnif, Tazarine and Nkob all the way to Draa Valley, one of Morocco’s longest rivers, where we’ll stop to the breathtaking views and then carry on driving to Ouarzazate to spend the night.

On the fifth and, sadly, last day of our 5-day tour from Agadir to the Sahara Desert, we’ll drive back to Agadir city where our wonderful journey will come to an end, and we will drop you off wherever you want, depending on your next plans.
