On the first day of our 5-day desert tour from Agadir to Merzouga Sahara Desert and back, we’ll meet & pick you up in Agadir, a city by the ocean with the most fascinating beaches and landscapes, and then we are going to drive down to Marrakech, also known as the red city.
you will spend the rest of the day exploring the vibrant city of Marrakech as you visit the iconic Koutoubia Mosque, the world-famous Djemaa el-Fna square, and weave your way through the streets of the UNESCO-listed medina.
There you’ll discover the intricate architecture of the Bahia Palace and the serene Majorelle Garden. In the evening, immerse yourself in the lively atmosphere of the city’s famous night markets.
On the second day of our 5 desert tour from Agadir to Merzouga desert, we are going to drive through the high Atlas Mountains with the most captivating and panoramic views to the Kasbah of Ait Benhaddou, a famous Kasbah with the best views and old, yet impressive architecture.
In addition to the fact that the Kasbah of Ait Benhaddou is beautiful and magical, it is also a UNESCO World Heritage site. It attracts thousands of visitors every year, thanks to the fact that parts of some famous movies were filmed there such as Game of Thrones, Gladiator, and many more, both local and foreign movies.
We’ll have a delicious Moroccan lunch there and head over to Ouarzazate to visit the Atlas studios if you are interested. Our next stop will be at the Rose Valley.
We will continue our way after that to our Riad in Boumalne Dades.
On the third day of our 5-day desert tour from Agadir to Merzouga desert, we’ll drive over to the Sahara Desert, and on the way there you’ll we’ll make a few stops along the way. We’ll stop in the gorges of Toudgha and take a stroll in the famous Toudgha canyon where climbers of all nationalities go to do their climbing and engage in a lot of fun activities.
After that, we’ll carry on driving to Erfoud and then to the Sahara Desert (Merzouga). When we arrive in the Sahara Desert, you will have a Camel trekking across the Erg Chebbi Dunes, sandboarding, and the chance to enjoy a spectacular desert sunset. And then spend the night at a well-equipped camp with everything you might need during your stay there.
On the fourth day of our 5-day desert tour from Agadir to Merzouga desert, After breakfast, we’ll leave for Ouarzazate. As we travel to Ouarzazate, we’ll often stop at some viewpoints on the road.
Our first stop will be at Rissani, a desert town with this great marketplace (Souk), and then continue driving through Alnif, Tazarine, and Nkob all the way to Draa Valley, one of Morocco’s longest rivers, where we’ll stop to enjoy some of the breathtaking views and then carry on driving to Ouarzazate to spend the night.
On the fifth and last day of our 5-day desert tour from Agadir to the Sahara Desert, we’ll drive back to Agadir city where our wonderful journey will come to an end, and we will drop you off wherever you want, depending on your next plans.
