5 days in Morocco tour from Casablanca to Marrakech

On the first day of your 5-day in Morocco tour from Casablanca to Marrakech, you will be picked up at either the airport or your hotel in Casablanca. Spend the day getting to know the biggest city in Morocco, as well as some of its well-known monuments, namely the world-famous Hassan II Mosque, one of the largest in Africa and the world.

From here you will be off to the capital city of Rabat. Here you will visit the Hassan Tower, the Kasbah of the Udayas, and the Mohammed V Mausoleum.

Your journey will then continue to the historic city of Fes, one of Morocco’s most culturally and spiritually significant cities. Along the way, you will stop at the ancient Roman ruins of Volubilis near Meknes before making your way to your night’s stay in a riad in the heart of Fes’s old medina.

On the second day of your 5-day in Morocco tour from Casablanca to Marrakech, you will get a chance to do some sightseeing in the imperial city of Fes and explore its main attractions.

First up, visit the enchanting old medina and stroll through its alleyways on your way to visit Chouari Tannery, renowned for their quality leather products, such as shoes, handbags, cushions, and much more. Your tour will then continue to one of the most fascinating neighborhoods of the old medina, the Jewish quarter, known as ‘Mellah’.

Enjoy every moment as you take pleasure in the special, one-of-a-kind city that is Fes. When ready, head back to your riad for the night. 

On the third day of your 5.day in Morocco tour from Casablanca to Marrakech, you will travel to the Saharan village of Merzouga, located at the edge of the Erg Chebbi sand dunes. On the way there, you will pass through the Middle Atlas Mountains, and visit the towns of Ifrane and Azrou.

An additional stop will be made in the Cedar Forest in order to enjoy some beautiful nature, breath in some fresh air and hang out with the wild, but personable, monkeys.

Once you reach Merzouga, allow yourself to be fully immersed in the serenity of the Sahara Desert, one of the must-do attractions that draws millions of people around the world to Morocco. The Sahara’s unique beauty will definitely take you by surprise, an unforgettable experience enhanced by camel treks across the dunes and a gorgeous desert sunset.

In the evening, cozy up around the campfire and enjoy the sounds of Berber Saharan music at the luxury camp where you will rest for the night.

On the fourth day of your 5-day tour from Casablanca to Marrakesh, get up early for a delicious Saharan breakfast. Once fuelled up for the days activities, you will set off for the town of Boumalne Dades, located in the breathtaking Dades Valley.

There you will also pay a visit to the Todra Gorges in order to see, explore and stroll through the stunning valley with a unique vibe that countless visitors have fallen in love with. The Gorges are some of the most charming in the southeastern region of Morocco, making it a very attractive location for large numbers of foreign and local tourists every year.

Your tour will then continue through spectacular mountain scenery all the way to Boumalne Dades, where you will spend the night. 

On the final day of your 5-day in Morocco tour from Casablanca to Marrakech, you will travel through the magical High Atlas Mountains to capture some stunning views and a stop in several Berber villages to experience the local flavor of life.

Once in the bustling city of Marrakech, you will get the chance to go see some of the most important monuments, starting with the world-famous Jamaa Lfna Square and vibrant souks. Visits to the Bahia Palace and the Saadian Tombs are also on the cards, but in any case, get ready for an action-packed, fun time all around as the city promises to entertain you at every turn.
