6 days Morocco tour from Tangier to Marrakech

On the first day of our 6-day Morocco tour from Tangier to Marrakech via the Sahara Desert, we are going to pick you up at the airport/Port/Riad upon your arrival and embark on our journey together to Fes, one of the four imperial cities of Morocco.

On the way there, we are going to enjoy the diverse, yet fascinating scenery along the way and make a stop in this amazing blue city called Chefchaouen, which you might have heard of or read about.

This blue city is often referred to as the blue pearl. It has this wonderful vibe and visitors easily fall in love with its architecture, little blue streets, and souks.

On the second day of our wonderful 6 days in Morocco from Tangier to Marrakech, get ready for a full day of exploration of Fes, the cultural and spiritual heart of Morocco. Get “lost” with your local guide as you wander through the narrow winding streets of the UNESCO-listed Fes el-Bali (Old Medina) where you’ll pay a visit to centuries-old tanneries, intricately decorated mosques, plus one of the oldest universities in the world and the first ever founded by a woman, the University of Al-Quaraouiyine.

While there, don’t forget to immerse yourself in the medina’s bustling atmosphere as you wind your way through the old city’s countless lively markets.

Not to mention, discover some of the most fascinating historical hot spots outside of the medina to experience Fes from a different perspective. Stops include the Royal Palace Gates, the Jewish Quarter, and the South Tower, which offers an incredible panoramic view of the old city.

As if that weren’t enough, Fes is also famous the world over for its one-of-a-kind ceramics. To learn more, you’ll have the opportunity to get to meet local artisans and see first-hand how they practice their craft.

On the third day of Our 6 days in Morocco from Tangier, we are going to get up early, have a delicious breakfast, and travel south through the Middle Atlas Mountains. Along the way, you’ll pass through Ifrane, known as “Little Switzerland,” and explore the beautiful cedar forest in Azrou, home to the Barbary apes. You can even feed the monkeys if you fancy!

After your time with your new forest friends, you’ll drive through the scenic Ziz Valley, dotted with seemingly endless palm groves and small Berber villages. In the evening you’ll arrive at Merzouga, where you’ll hop on a camel and trek into the mesmerizing Sahara Desert to spend the night in a camp.

On the fourth day of our 6 day-tour in Morocco from Tangier, we are going to get up early, in order not to miss the amazing sunrise in the Sahara Desert and then resume our driving to the gorges of Toudgha. On the way there, we are going to see a bunch of Berber villages, palm groves, and beautiful Saharan scenery.

When we arrive in Toudgha Gorges, you’ll get to see these cliffs, giant mountains and, of course, a bunch of foreign and local tourists as well, not only there are also water springs, the thing that makes the place fascinating and so alive.

Right after that, we are going to carry on driving to Ouarzazate city with a number of monuments, museums, and Kasbahs. On the way there, we will see the Rose Valley, and visit the Kasbah Amridil. In Ouarzazate, we are going to spend the night there at a Riad.

On the fifth day of our 6-day Morocco tour from Tangier, we are going to have breakfast in Ouarzazate and drive a few miles to this picturesque Kasbah, Ait Benhaddou, a Kasbah with the most spectacular views, magical architecture, and serenity.

After that, we are going to continue driving through the high Atlas Mountains all the way to Marrakech, where we’ll spend the night at a Riad. We will make stops along the way to rest, and enjoy the beauty of the Atlas Mountains.

On the last day of our 6-day tour in Morocco from Tangier to Marrakech, our journey comes to an end here in Marrakesh City, and we’ll give you a ride to the airport to catch your flight back home. If time allows you can have a guided tour of Marrakech.
