On the first day of our 7-day Morocco tour from Fes, we are going to explore Fes with a local guide and head over to Chefchaouen. Today with your local guide you will wander through the narrow winding streets of the UNESCO-listed Fes el-Bali (Old Medina) where you’ll pay a visit to centuries-old tanneries, intricately decorated mosques, plus one of the oldest universities in the world and the first-ever founded by Fatima el–Fihri, the University of Al-Quaraouiyine. While there, don’t forget to immerse yourself in the medina’s bustling atmosphere as you wind your way through the old city’s countless lively markets.
Not to mention, discover some of the most fascinating historical hot spots outside of the medina to experience Fes from a different perspective. Stops include the Royal Palace Gates, the Jewish Quarter, and the South Tower, which offers an incredible panoramic view of the old city.
As if that weren’t enough, Fes is also famous the world over for its one-of-a-kind ceramics. To learn more, you’ll have the opportunity to get to meet local artisans and see first-hand how they practice their craft. After visiting Fes we will head the road to the Blue Peral Chefchaouen. Once there, you will get the chance to see a spectacular sunset by the Spanish mosque and visit the medina.

We are going to travel to Rabat which is the capital of Morocco and a place where modernity and traditionality come into contact. In Rabat, you will explore the Hassan Tower. Also, you will visit the Oudayas Kasbah. In the afternoon you can scroll the streets of the old Madina of Rabat.
On the third day of your 7-day Morocco tour itinerary from Fes, we are going to explore Casablanca’s historical sites and then carry on to the red city of Marrakech. Casablanca is often referred to as the economic capital of Morocco, given the fact that it is a city of business and job opportunities. By the end of the day, we are going to reach Marrakech and spend the night there at a Riad in the heart of the old Medina.

The Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou is one hell of a place that is listed as a World Heritage site by UNESCO and is one of the must-see places, once one visits Morocco. Next, we are going to continue to Ouarzazate for the night. Not to mention that you will have the chance to visit the Atlas studios.
On day six of your 7-day Morocco desert tour from Fes, after a night stay in the city of Ouarzazate, we are going to continue our journey to the stunning Todra Gorges where you will have a walk by the Canyon. The Gorge is absolutely stunning because, it has enormous mountains, springs, and a number of cliffs. It is a top-notch destination for those who enjoy climbing and other related activities, it is practically a paradise.
Last but not least, we will continue our way to Merzouga passing by various places such as Erfoud where we will see a fossil workshop. Not far from Erfoud, we will get to Merzouga, in particular, Erg Chebbi, which is renowned for its golden sand dunes and breathtaking panoramas. Then we will travel north through the high Atlas Mountains. Along the way, you’ll pass through Ifrane, known as “Little Switzerland,” and explore the beautiful cedar forest in Azrou, home to the Barbary apes.
