Our tour agency brings you this unique 7-day in Morocco tour from Casablanca to Marrakech. During your week in Morocco, you will have ample time to explore many cities, towns, and wondrous locations here in our beautiful country.

To get your tour underway, you will be met by your tour guide at the airport in Casablanca, the largest city in Morocco. From there you will drive over to one of the most picturesque unique towns in Chefchaouen, often referred to as the ”Blue Pearl”. On the way there, you will stop in Rabat, the capital city of the Kingdom of Morocco, for a bit of sightseeing of the main attractions. 

Following our night in Chefchaouen, you will make your way to the Fes-Meknes region to explore the world-famous Roman ruins of Volubilis, located a few miles away from Meknes, a city with a long and rich history.

Your journey will then take you down to the enchanting Sahara Desert of Merzouga, a must-see place during your time in Morocco. Take in one of the most spectacular sunsets you could ever see, trek across the magical sand dunes by camel into the heart of the Sahara and enjoy an out of this world view of the night sky as you spend the night at a luxury desert camp.

From there, head over to Todra and Dades, known for their giant canyons and gorges. Spend a night in Boumalne Dades before making your way to Marrakech via Ouarzazate and the UNESCO World Heritage site of Kasbah of Ait Benhaddou.

Itinerary: 7 days in Morocco tour from Casablanca to Marrakech

Day I: Casablanca

On the first day of your 7-day in Morocco tour from Casablanca to Marrakech, you will be picked up at the airport and taken to your hotel to rest. When reenergized, you will have the opportunity to explore some popular places around town, namely the world-famous Hassan II Mosque, one of the largest in Africa and the world.

Later in the day, check out the vibrant neighborhood of Habous, known for its traditional Moroccan architecture and markets.

At night, head back toward your hotel to enjoy a traditional Moroccan dinner at a nearby restaurant.

Day II:Casablanca - Rabat - Chefchaouen

On the second day of your 7-day in Morocco tour from Casablanca to Marrakech, depart for Rabat after a nice breakfast to spend some time in the capital city of Morocco. Once there, you will visit several key places, such as the Kasbah of the Udayas – an historic fortress overlooking the Atlantic Ocean – the Chellah monuments and the Hassan Tower, an unfinished minaret of a mosque.

From there your journey will continue to Chefchaouen, known the world over for its bright and colorful blue-washed buildings. Allow yourself to get lost as you wander through the narrow streets of its old medina and enjoy its special ambiance.

Be sure to check out the evening vibe as your stay for the night will be in this beautiful northern city. 

Day III: Chefchaouen - Roman Ruins of Volubilis - Meknes – Fes

On day three, you will have a bit of time in the morning for some last minute strolling through Chefchaouen’s charming alleyways before leaving for the ancient Roman city of Volubilis. Volubilis is the only city of its kind in Morocco, located in the outskirts of the Fes-Meknes region. Here you will have the chance to explore the well-preserved ruins, including the Basilica, the Capitoline Temple, and the Triumphal Arch.

From there you will make your way to Meknes, known as the “Versailles of Morocco”. Visit the beautiful Bab Mansour Gate at the heart of Meknes, the Mausoleum of Moulay Ismail, the Royal Stables, and other various important monuments. 

Your day will end in Fes, where you will be served a traditional Moroccan dinner and spend the night in a riad. 

Day IV: Fes - Local Tour - Imperial City - Old Medina of Fes

On the fourth day of your 7-day in Morocco tour from Casablanca to Marrakech, get ready for a full day of exploration of Fes, the cultural and spiritual heart of Morocco. Get lost in the labyrinthine city center with your local guide as you wander through the narrow winding streets of the UNESCO-listed Fes el-Bali (Old Medina). There you will visit centuries-old tanneries, intricately decorated mosques, plus one of the oldest universities in the world and the first ever founded by a woman – the University of Al-Quaraouiyine. While there, don’t forget to immerse yourself in the medina’s bustling atmosphere as you wind your way through the old city’s countless lively markets.

Once you leave the old center, discover some of the most fascinating historical hot spots outside of the medina to experience Fes from a different perspective. Stops include the Royal Palace Gates, the Jewish Quarter, and the South Tower, which offers an incredible panoramic view of the old city.

Beyond its extraordinary beauty and allure, Fes is also world famous for its one-of-a-kind ceramics. To learn more, you will have the opportunity to meet local artisans and see first-hand how they practice their craft.

DAY V:Fes - Ifrane - Cedar Forest - Midelt - Ziz Valley - Merzouga Sahara

On the day five of your 7-day in Morocco tour from Casablanca to Marrakech, you will leave Fes and drive to the Sahara Desert of Merzouga. On the way there, you are going to stop by Ifrane, a picturesque town known as the “Little Switzerland” of Africa, given its alpine architecture.

DAY VI:Merzouga - Rissani - Erfoud - Todra Gorges - Dades Valley

Day VII:Dades Valley - Roses Valley - Ouarzazate - Ait Benhaddou - High Atlas Mountains - Marrakech

On the last day of your 7-day tour from Casablanca to Marrakech, get ready for one final day of adventure. After breakfast you will head off to venture through the Roses Valley, known for its rose gardens and cosmetic products.

From there you will make your way to Ouarzazate, often called the “Hollywood of Morocco” given that the local studios have been a prime filming location for both local and foreign movies, along with the neighboring UNESCO World Heritage site Kasbah of Ait Benhaddou.

After a nice stroll through the kasbah, you will complete the final stretch of the trip across the Atlas Mountains until you reach Marrakech where your time with us will sadly come to an end.
