Our tour guide will take you to explore the city of Marrakech and visit its monuments and popular places, namely Jamaa Lfna, a famous square known for a bunch of activities such as storytelling, etc.

Also, there are a bunch of Cafes & restaurants as well as snake charmers and stuff like that there in Jamma Lfna. In addition to that, we will visit the Majorelle gardens, and stroll in the old medina of Marrakech. In short, this very first day of our journey in Morocco will be fun, as we will explore the entire Marrakech. At night, we’ll head back to our Riad to rest.

Day 3: MARRAKECH- ATLAS MOUNTAINS- TICHKA- AIT BENHADDOU- OUARZAZATE- DADES GORGES

On the third day of your 7-day Morocco tour from Marrakech to Fes, you will make new memories and enjoy a memorable time in such a magnificent land, as we take you on an exciting journey through our gorgeous nation. We’ll get to pass through the High Atlas Mountain range on our way to the Sahara Desert, and we’ll stop along the way so you can rest and take pictures.

When we reach the Kasbah of Ait Benhaddou, you will be able to appreciate its magnificent architecture and spectacular vistas. Many movies, both Moroccan and foreign, were filmed at this Kasbah.

You will then enjoy a traditional Berber lunch at one of Ouarzazate’s best restaurants, just a few miles away from the kasbah of Ait Benhaddou. Just after lunch, you will visit another Kasbah nearby, Kasbah Amridil.

Speaking of Hollywood, Ouarzazate is often referred to as the little Hollywood of Africa thanks to its Atlas Studios. Many famous local and foreign movies have been shot there, which makes it a top destination in Morocco receiving hundreds of thousands of visitors every year.

A stop in the Rose Valley is also a must, where you will have the chance to pick up any of your favorite rose-themed products. Peruse the more than one hundred different ways in which roses are used, ranging anywhere from beauty products to cooking products to simply giving a lovely scent to your home.

From there you’ll depart to your hotel in Boumalne Dades.

Day 4: DADES VALLEY- ROAD TO TINGHIR- GORGES OF TOUDGHA- SAHARA DESERT- MERZOUGA

On the 4th day of our 7 days in Morocco tour from Marrakech to Fes, you will have the opportunity to take a shower, eat a fantastic breakfast, and then drive to Merzouga to explore the Sahara Desert.

You’ll leave for the Sahara Desert. On the way, there will be a number of stops in various beautiful places, such as the Valley of Todgha and the Gorges of Toudgha, situated a few miles from Tinghir, a small Berber town in the Southeastern region of Morocco.

After that, you’ll continue to Tinjdad for a delicious lunch before driving through Mellab, Eljorf, and Erfoud, several interesting desert towns that are known as the gateway to the Sahara Desert.

When you reach your destination in the Sahara Desert, you will be welcomed with a glass of mint tea before setting off on your camel ride. Immerse yourself in one of the most spectacular experiences the desert has to offer as you are taken across some of the highest dunes amongst the backdrop of a Saharan sunset.

The camels will take you to your luxury desert camp for the night, while your luggage will be taken to the camp by our driver.

DAY 5:SAHARA DESERT-LOCAL TOUR- NOMAD LIFE- DESERT- MERZOUGA-ERG CHEBBI

On day five of your 7 days Morocco tour from Marrakech to Fes, we encourage you to wake up early in order to witness the stunning sunrise over the Sahara Desert. It’s worth it, we promise!

After a tasty desert breakfast at the camp, you’ll explore the surrounding area and be welcomed into the home of a nomadic family to learn more about their traditional way of life.

From there you’ll take a trip to M’fis, an abandoned mining town peacefully tucked away in the Erg Chebbi sand dunes. While it may be a ghost town, it still holds its allure as a formerly vibrant place where the mineral kohl was extracted to create ancient eyeliner.

On your way to Khamlia where you will pay a visit to the Tuareg people – an indigenous ethnic group also known as the “Blue Men of the Sahara Desert” – venture up to some of the highest viewpoints where you can properly take in the vast beauty of the region. Once in Khamlia, you will be treated to some exceptional traditional music and dance by this special group of people found in Morocco only here.

After some fine entertainment, take delight in trying a local dish found only in Morocco – Berber Pizza. A classic recipe composed of ground beef, onions, and exotic spices that harmoniously come together for a culinary experience like no other.

Later venture into the stunning Erg Chebbi Dunes and enjoy the tranquility of the desert. In the afternoon you’ll head back to the hotel near the palm grove, where you can relax and take a refreshing dip in the swimming pool. Dinner is included.

DAY 6:SAHARA DESERT- FES- MIDDLE ATLAS MOUNTAINS- CEDAR FOREST

On day six of your 7-day tour from Marrakech to Fes, we’ll take the road to Fes, where our one week in Morocco from Marrakech to Fes will end. You’ll be taken to Rissani to visit its souk, then to Erfoud to see a fossil workshop.

After that, we’ll take you through a road filled with wonderful scenery, palm groves, mountains, and cedar forests all the way to the imperial city of Fes. The latter is where we’ll drop you off either at your Riad or at the airport depending on your plans.

Our Next stop will be at the Ziz Valley. After that, we will stop for lunch at the Apple capital, Midalt. Next, you will get some time to feed wild monkeys in the Cedar forest. After that, you will explore Ifrane known as “Little Switzerland,” on your own.

Day 7:LOCAL TOUR- FES CITY- IMPERIAL CITY OF FES

On the last day of our 7-day Morocco tour from Marrakech to Fes via the Sahara Desert (Merzouga), get ready for a full day of exploration of Fes, the cultural and spiritual heart of Morocco. Get “lost” with your local guide as you wander through the narrow winding streets of the UNESCO-listed Fes el-Bali (Old Medina) where you’ll pay a visit to centuries-old tanneries, intricately decorated mosques, plus one of the oldest universities in the world and the first ever founded by a woman, the University of Al-Quaraouiyine. While there, don’t forget to immerse yourself in the medina’s bustling atmosphere as you wind your way through the old city’s countless lively markets.

Not to mention, discover some of the most fascinating historical hot spots outside of the medina to experience Fes from a different perspective. Stops include the Royal Palace Gates, the Jewish Quarter, and the South Tower, which offers an incredible panoramic view of the old city.

As if that weren’t enough, Fes is also famous the world over for its one-of-a-kind ceramics. To learn more, you’ll have the opportunity to get to meet local artisans and see first-hand how they practice their craft.
