8 days Morocco tour from Marrakech

Your 8-day Morocco tour will start in Marrakech, where we will pick you up at the airport/Riad. You will then have the chance to explore the city’s famous landmarks such as the Koutoubia Mosque, the Saadian Tombs, and the Bahia Palace.

You will also have the opportunity to stroll through the vibrant souks of Marrakech, where you can shop for souvenirs and sample traditional Moroccan cuisine. After that, we’ll depart from Marrakech and head towards Ouarzazate. On the way, we will pass through the stunning Atlas Mountains, where you will have the opportunity to stop and take photos.

We will also visit the UNESCO World Heritage site of Ait Ben Haddou, an ancient fortified city that has been featured in many Hollywood movies. Lastly, we will check in at the hotel, where we will spend the night.

On the second day of our 8 days in Morocco from Marrakech, after breakfast, you will depart from Ouarzazate and head towards Merzouga, a small town on the edge of the Sahara Desert. Along the way, you will pass through the amazing Toudgha Gorges, where you can take a walk and admire the stunning scenery.

Upon arrival in Merzouga, you will take a camel ride into the desert to watch the sunset over the dunes. You will then spend the night in a traditional Berber campsite under the stars and listen to Berber music around the campfire at night.

On the third day of your 8 days in Morocco from Marrakech, we’ll embark on a new adventure, but this time it will merely involve driving a 4WD car around the Sahara Desert. we’ll explore the Saharan lifestyle, meet nomads, and spend quality time exploring an oasis.

We’ll spend a lot of time with real nomads in the Sahara Desert where we’ll learn about their simple but amazing way of life. In addition to that, we’ll have mint tea, eat desert food which is going to be desert pizza as a main dish, enjoy the Touaregs Berber music in Khamlia and their traditional dance, and capture a ton of photos and videos. Today, you will have the afternoon free so you can rest and relax by the pool at the hotel in Merzouga.

On the fourth day of our 8-day Morocco tour from Marrakech, we’ll drive over to Midelt. On the way there we’ll visit Rissani, a traditional Berber town with a popular market/ Souk, and then drive through Erfoud where we will see a fossils workshop, often known as the gateway to the Sahara Desert before we continue all the way through, the Ziz Valley, Tizi Talghomt pass to Midelt city, where we’ll spend the night.

On the fifth day of our 8-day Morocco tour from Marrakech, we’ll continue our journey to Fes. On the way, we’ll make stops in order to rest & enjoy the diverse scenery as well as take pictures. We’ll stop at Cedar Forest to see a bunch of trees and monkeys and continue to Ifrane, the little Switzerland of Africa, and then to Fes, one of the four imperial cities of Morocco.

On day six of your 8 days in Morocco tour from Marrakech, you will spend the day exploring the historic city of Fes. Our tour guide will take you to the old Medina of Fes, a UNESCO World Heritage site that is home to many of the city’s historic landmarks. You will also have the opportunity to explore the Fes tanneries, where leather is still produced using traditional methods.

Also, we will take you to see the modern of Fes (New Fes) as well as visit some of its Royal gates, and Jewish quarter. Also, we will see the ceramic school factory where you will learn how people make them. At the end, we will go to the viewpoint to see the whole city of Fes.

On day seven of our 8 days in Morocco from Marrakech, after breakfast, we will depart from Fes and head towards Meknes, a historic city that was once the capital of Morocco. You will then continue your journey to Volubilis, a Roman city that was abandoned in the 3rd century. Here you can explore the ancient ruins and learn about the history of the area.

We will then continue driving all the way to Rabat, the capital of Morocco. Rabat has got a long history & a bunch of monuments such as Chellah, Hassan tower and many more. We’ll do some sightseeing and take pictures. Late in the afternoon, we’ll go to our Riad for an overnight stay.

On day eight and the last day of our 8 days in Morocco itinerary from Marrakech to Fes Via the Sahara Desert and back to Marrakech, we will leave for Marrakech where our journey will end. On the way, we will visit Casablanca, the largest city in Morocco with the most population.

Casablanca is often referred to as the economic capital of Morocco due to the fact that most factories and small and big businesses are based in Casablanca. While in Casablanca, we’ll visit one of the biggest mosques in the world (Hassan II) and then carry on driving back to Marrakech where our journey will end.
